Go, Danica, go! by FOXSports.com

Danica Patrick is expected to announce on Monday that she's re-signing with newly renamed Andretti Autosport.

It has previously been reported that Patrick is close to signing a three-year deal to remain in the IndyCar series racing for Michael Andretti's team.

GoDaddy.com, who has served as an associate sponsor for her team, is rumored to be her primary sponsor for the 2010 season.

GoDaddy.com's home page confirms a "big announcement with Danica Patrick" on Monday but doesn't include details.

What also isn't clear is how this will affect Patrick's rumored future in NASCAR. She's been heavily linked to JR Motorsports, who was sponsored by GoDaddy.com this past season in the NASCAR Nationwide series. GoDaddy.com will sponsor Mark Martin's Hendrick Motorsports Sprint Cup car in 2010. JR Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports merged operations when Dale Earnhardt Jr. joined Hendrick Motorsports in 2008.

Patrick has been a driver in the IRL since 2005, the year she became the first female driver to lead the Indianapolis 500. Patrick also was the first woman to win an IndyCar event in 2008 at the Indy Japan 300.

The Web site domain company GoDaddy.com has been a secondary sponsor for her car since the 2007 season and Patrick has starred in racy GoDaddy.com commercials for the Super Bowl in the past.

Patrick will announce a partial Nationwide Series schedule at a Tuesday news conference in Phoenix, the person familiar with her plans tells The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because she has not officially announced her intentions. Last week Patrick signed a three-year contract extension with Andretti Autosport to stay in the IndyCar series, but its schedule gives her enough time to also try NASCAR. It's not clear yet how many races she will drive in NASCAR's second-tier series for team owners Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Rick Hendrick. GoDaddy.com will sponsor Patrick in both IndyCar and NASCAR.
